Almost Unbloggable

Claire has diaper rash. She didn't want me to put cream on it, because it's sore, but I had some powder so we compromised. She said I could put some on her.

(Come to think of it, when your kid is old enough to negotiate she's probably old enough to use the big girl potty.)

Anyway, I applied the powder and Claire sat up a little, looked at herself, and said, "I'm a snowman!"

Ha ha ha!

That is freaking hilarious! And PS...please don't potty train anytime soon. That would make me feel pressured to do so. That potty sticker chart is a complete sham. What will I do when we go home for the holidays and certain family members who thought C was potty trained...isn't. LOL. Well she SOMETIMES asks to go at home, but really. WHAT IS THE POINT? They can't wipe themselves or do up their pants right. May as well just change them when it works for me ;)

We have an agreement with Abby - we're not buying more diapers starting on Christmas. And it's mostly because she, like C, is negotiating her diaper routine.

Hahaha! Oh that's so funny!
Grace has her first diaper rash ever right now...I have no idea why, but luckily she's not old enough to negotiate yet! I put three different creams on her butt!

That was so cute! Just to let you know, a close friend told me a WONDERFUL solution for really bad diaper rashes. It really worked. I had tried two prescription creams the doctor gave me and still 10 days later, not cleared up; I tried this and poof, not even a day or two and completely gone. Amazing. Don't laugh. You buy Mylanta or Maalox ( I actually bought the Walgreens brand because the rest were minty flavor and I didn't think mint down there was necessary! :) and mix it with your diaper cream, Balmex, Desitin, Triple Paste, whatever and it is great! I actually have a squirmy baby, so I just put it in the dipaer itself and then usually chase my daughter and wrap it around her. GOOD LUCK and let me know if you try it.

PS. I just started a website, come check it out and let me know what you think! Thanks.

Must be the time of year for diaper rashes. Abby's got it too, poor little munchkin! Her bottom is sooo red and I'm just alternating Desitin and cornstarch. It should clear up soon.
