So, so sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to your whole family. Rebe
Oh Amy, my heart just breaks for all of you, I know how difficult this is. Max was such a wonderful dog, she brought so much joy to your lives and she was such an amazing girl. Remember the good times, remember that you did everything for her and she loved you unconditionally. It would have been wrong for you to make her hang on just for you, you did the right thing. Honestly, the first year or two I wasn't sure if Max and I would ever see eye to eye, but Max turned out to be such a fabulous dog, I loved her so much--my first grand dog! I will miss her so much. How lucky you were to have her. What precious treasures they are in our lives, that's why we do this to ourselves, even though we know we'll have to let them go.It will get easier in the days to come, let yourself cry and mourn her passing because she was so deserving. Her pawprints are on all of our hearts.
After seven and a half years I still tear up over the loss of our Duncan whenever I read of someone else's loss. A couple of months later we adopted two girl Wheatens who are our daily chuckles and snuggles but we will always miss our first Wheaten, Duncan.I'm so sorry for all of you.
I'm sorry Amy. We lot our "puppy" 2 years ago and the pain is still fresh.
