We tried Shrek this week. It sucks. Tons of sex jokes, cussing, and torturing of gingerbread men. Also annoyed that Fiona is cool and funny but ugly. She chooses to be an ogre so she can be herself. Why are the choices ugly and cool or hot and sexy? Can't they just make normal images for kids? And in Shrek2 Shrek doesn't want to be king so they have some weird storyline about that. What about her being queen? I mean the king is her father for pete's sake!

Have you watched "Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs"? Its pretty funny for adults. Still has the geeky cute girl who is sooooo ugly cuz she has glasses and a ponytail but at least the girl is smart. Will Arnet (spelling?) is in it too... really, its funny.

Those Thomas trains are creepy - something about the eyes! The kids like 'em though.
I thought Shrek 4 was ok. I didn't notice any sex jokes, although there was Gingerbread torture again.
BJ likes to check www.parentpreviews.com before we let the kids watch anything new. We've found it to be extremely accurate.
We haven't seen "Meatballs" yet. Maybe we'll rent it tonight. Thanks for the recommendation.
