One Way to Deal With Daylight Savings

It's technically 7:15, but my body thinks it's 6:15. Let me assure you that it's rare for me to see two 6:15s in a day... I'm not a morning person.

But I just had the worst dream. It was so bad that afterward I got up to use the bathroom, then I left the light on and sat and looked at Claire for a while. Finally I realized that there's no way I'm going back to sleep, came downstairs, and started the coffee.

I won't go into it, because it was graphic and horrible and there's no point in putting the images that I can't get out of my head into yours. But wow, this is a hell of a way to deal with Daylight Saving Time.

I've always had vivid dreams, and they were 100 times more vivid when I was pregnant. BJ doesn't generally remember his dreams. Neither does my dad. I wonder if it's a guy thing. I am cursed with dreams. They're extremely vivid, often disturbing, and I remember them in detail. They're also so real that sometimes I wake up and I'm not sure whether or not they happened. When I wake up, my dreams are as real, in my mind, as yesterday. It generally takes me a few minutes to sort out what really happened and what I dreamed. I've actually been mad at BJ for stuff that, it turns out, he did in my dreams.

Do you dream? Tell me a nice story to help me get this awful one out of my head.

My sisters and I always laugh at how we would get mad at the husbands for something they did in our dreams. I remember once I woke up Dh up and told him he's a jerk LoL

I always remember my dreams. Check out Bizkit the sleepwalking dog on Youtube. It's hilarious!

Yep, dreams are weird things, and I've got mad/freaked out quite a few times. My husband has worse dreams than me, although mine are normally more realistic, his are just more scary in a 'something's chasing me' way. I have dreamed the gender of some of my friends' babies, that's quite nice, especially when I've been right!

I remember my dreams often, including a bizarre one about church from last night. Anny remembers hers on occasion, but it's certainly not the norm.

I hope you had a more peaceful sleep last night.

I have very vivid and typically messed up dreams. I also specialize in anxiety dreams, where I'm back at basic training and a Tech Sgt is yelling at me and I have to pass the fitness test and then I'm all like, wait, I'm a friggin CAPTAIN, why am I here again? But I'm still running... sigh. I also wake up sobbing from dreams where I got upset in the dream and wake up actually crying. Those are awesome.

But last night, I dreamed I was an a big hollywood awards show, sitting across the table from America Ferrera and I was wearing a purdy dress and got to dance with a hunky star (didn't recognize him, but DANG! He was easy on the eyes). It was a good dream for once! :)

oh, the one my DH remembers the best though, is where I was grabbed by the throat through my open car window while waiting for my sister to drop of drycleaning. I SHRIEKED in real life and DH shot out of bed ready to beat someone's ass. Then I got tickled b/c I was embarassed I yelled out loud and DH got pissed b/c now he's up with a gallon of adrenaline pumping through his system. I kept laughing (heck, I'm still laughing about it as I type) and he just kept getting more mad, insisting that it wasn't effing funny. I disagree. It was pretty dang funny.

I dreamt last night that the mice we're evicting from our crawlspace moved into our attic and were crawling out the attic access to eat my baby. No sleep after that, let me tell you. It's nice to dream again, though. It means I'm sleeping for long enough periods of time - yay! God, I miss sleep...
