While I was folding laundry tonight, and BJ was reading to the kids, Claire said her first word...
"Mama!"
Moments like this defy description. It's like my heart cracked open.
If she's anything like Mary Grace, she'll say "Mama" for two days, and then say "Dada," exclusively, for 3 months. :)

How exciting! I miss those moments. Don't you wish you could just bottle them up and re-open them any time you want? I made the mistake of teaching Blaine a few signs for basic words and then he wouldn't speak at all...he would just sign what he wanted until someone noticed!
She's such a biggle! Before we know it they will both be in college.
