Mush McPuna is an institution in my family. It's super easy, cheap, marginally nutritious, did I mention cheap? And easy?
The first person to leave a comment saying, "you are what you eat," is getting their ears boxed. :)
Mush McPuna
1 box Kraft (accept no substitutes!) Mac & Cheese
1 can cream of mushroom soup
frozen peas
1 can tuna
milk
While you're cooking the macaroni in one pan, cook the mushroom soup with about half the milk in another pan. Throw the cheese from the box into the soup and mix. A minute or two before the noodles are cooked, add the frozen peas. Drain the noodles and peas. Mix with the soup and add the can of tuna.
If you're feeling really fancy, crumble some potato chips on top! Mmmmm....
(Thanks, Mom, for the recipe!)

you are so hilarious (by the way, beat ya!!!). I was totally going to post the exact same idea, but with canned chicken instead of tuna. crazy.
Love,
jen
nice recipe:-) i really like how you list all your previous wfmw posts at the end of your post. (a lot of work tho to get all those darn linkys!)
Oh, that sounds like a great variation to our tired old tuna casserole recipe! And, I like the earlier commenter's idea to do it with chicken. Great ideas!
Lots of brothers and sisters in my house this became a staple at one point.
Only difference was it consisted of:
3 boxes Mac and cheese
2 cans tuna
1 can peas
Make the M&C, mix in tuna and peas, continue to heat until it is hot, serve.
One pot cooking at its easiest.
