WFMW: Lower Cabinet Organization

I have more lower cabinets than I need in my kitchen.  After we'd lived here for about 5 years I realized that I was "losing" stuff in the abyss of one cabinet, in particular, where I kept pantry items - refills on stuff that was already open elsewhere, cans of soup, boxes of unopened crackers, etc.  (Since it's a lower cabinet, I didn't want to attract critters by putting OPEN items in it...).

I went to Walmart and found a plastic bin that would fit into the space between the floor of the lower cabinet and the shelf in the lower cabinet, so that I could use it as a drawer and no longer lose small items in the back.  Here's a picture, because that doesn't make any sense...

Ok, so maybe it doesn't LOOK organized, but it sure beats having to pull everything out to get at the Macaroni & Cheese that's in the back, and then replace everything in the cabinet.

So, that's what Works for Me! Visit Shannon at Rocks in my Dryer for more WFMW tips!

Totes are great. They make chaos look organized. Great job

I think that's a great idea! And I'm with you on how some things don't have to look organized to feel organized. :)
